Colored powder sealed onto your own nail with a resin base, and no UV lamp to cure the powder.

What guests say

"I've been going to Lucky Nails for about 10 years, since I moved up here. I have always been extremely happy with the service — mani/pedi, lip/brow waxing. It's been said, attitude reflects leadership. I can truly say Jennifer, the owner, is wonderful personally and professionally, and her entire team is equally wonderful. Welcoming, friendly and very conscientious, those who take great pride in their craft. I recommend wholeheartedly and feel extremely confident you would not be disappointed. Thanks Lucky Nails!"

Questions

Good to know

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments and walk-ins are both welcome. You can book online any time, or call 561-470-4849 to hold a chair.

Where are you located?

We are at 8177 Glades Rd #26, inside West Boca Place, with parking outside.

What is NexGen?

NexGen is dip powder, the same thing some salons call SNS. Colored powder is sealed onto your natural nail with a resin base, so there is no liquid monomer and none of the harsh acrylic smell. A full set starts at $45 and takes about 45 to 60 minutes.

Is NexGen better than acrylic?

Different, not better. NexGen goes on as an overlay with no liquid monomer, so there is no strong smell and less filing of your natural nail. Acrylic is sculpted and is the better choice when you want to add real length. Both wear about as long as each other.

How long does NexGen last?

Most guests get two to three weeks, and up to four with good aftercare. Down here the pool and the ocean are what shorten it, so rinse your hands afterward, and use cuticle oil daily. Rebook around two to three weeks, before it starts lifting at the cuticle.

Does NexGen damage my natural nails?

The powder itself does not. What causes damage is heavy filing and pulling a set off, so we soak it off gently instead. Taking an occasional break between sets is still a good idea.

How is NexGen removed?

We soak it off in acetone, usually 10 to 15 minutes. Please do not pick or peel a set off at home. That is what takes layers of your natural nail with it. Come in and we will take it off for you.

What is in the Ice Dancer pedicure?

It uses the Nu Skin Epoch system, built around ethnobotanical ingredients, meaning plants documented in traditional use. A 21-herb mineral soak, walnut husk exfoliation, a cooling wild mint leg gel, allspice berry sole solution for dry heels, and baobab body butter to finish. It is $45.

How much is a manicure or pedicure?

A manicure is $22 and a basic spa pedicure is $30. Booked together they are $50. A gel manicure is $37 and a gel pedicure is $45.

Are you open on Sunday?

No. We are open Mon–Sat 9:30am to 7:00pm and closed on Sunday.
